Your adventure begins with a leisurely cruise along the serene Siem Reap River. Sip on a welcome drink as the enchanting sounds of traditional Khmer music sets the mood.
Next, we journey past the famous Phnom Krom Hill to the mystical Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake. Here, you’ll board a boat and explore the floating village of Chong Khneas, where homes, schools, churches, and even hair salons are built on the water. As we cruise through the village, our knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights about the community’s history, daily life, and the unique ecosystem that sustains them.
As the sun begins to set, we’ll shut off the engines and let the tranquility of the lake wash over you. Enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer for purchase as you capture the breathtaking sunset, painting the sky with hues of gold and pink. It’s the perfect time for amazing sunset pictures or video!
As darkness falls, we’ll cruise through the illuminated floating village, where the warm glow of lanterns and the rhythmic sounds of traditional Khmer music create a magical atmosphere. We’ll journey to dinner and indulge in a delectable 4-course traditional Khmer dinner, surrounded by the serene beauty of lotus fields, while the soothing sounds of nature complete the evening.
To end the night, we’ll return to the city with upbeat music and a lively atmosphere, making stops at local pubs along the way. Your tuk-tuk will be waiting to take you back to your hotel, leaving you with cherished memories of this incredible journey.
